Alexander Household Pest Control Service Benefits

When we visit your home for the first time, we apply pesticides to the outside and inside of your home. We stand by our services; if the pests come back between quarterly treatments, we’ll be back too – at no extra charge.

SUPERIOR PEST CONTROL

Our services are normally performed on a quarterly basis, but we can also do monthly and one time treatments depending on your needs.

Alexander’s pest control services include inspecting the area, identifying the pest problem, selecting appropriate control methods, applying pesticides judiciously, and then evaluating the effectiveness.

Integrated Pest Management

IPM means more than just applying pesticides. It involves several steps targeted at your specific problems and focuses on removing the three key elements pests need to survive: food, water and shelter. Making your property a less desirable destination for pests will help to reduce their populations. This provides you with a longer-term solution in the least intrusive manner possible.

Quality Guaranteed

We stand behind our services. If you do not notice a significant reduction in pests, we will return and re-treat at no additional cost. We have been designated a QualityPro company by the National Pest Management Association since 2005. The company is a member of the GPCA, the AMCA, and the NPMA, and has been a Best Pick company since 1998.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do you treat for common household pests?

Our pest control services are normally performed on a quarterly basis, but other service plans are available, including monthly and one time treatment, for most of the listed pests.

How much is your quarterly pest control program?

Cost to treat is based on the size of your home, and is a guaranteed service — meaning if your bugs come back, so will we, at no extra charge.

Are the pesticides pet and child safe?

Yes. Most of our services are conducted outdoors, and if the situation requires indoor pesticide application, we do not administer them in locations that are accessible by pets and children. We use “crack and crevice” application techniques indoors to eliminate the potential for contact with humans and their animal friends. However, if you suffer from asthma or otherwise have respiratory sensitivities, someone you live with is pregnant, or if there is a newborn in the home, we recommend leaving for a short period of time while the pesticides are applied and dry in accordance with all label instructions and applicable laws.

Can I DIY my own pest control?

We do not recommend administering pesticides if you are not professionally trained. However, there are practical things you can do on your own that may reduce the number of pests or the likelihood that they can get in your home, such as making sure any holes or openings in the structure of your home (such as a screen door) are properly fixed or closed, maintaining a clean living space free of crumbs, and taking out the trash in a timely manner.

What kind of diseases/health issues do pests spread?

Controlling pests can have as much to do with public health and disease prevention as it does with comfort. The types of cockroaches in Georgia are known to contaminate food and can cause asthma and allergic reactions in many.

Are there scorpions in Georgia?

Although the Southwest species of scorpions get the most attention, the Southern Devil and Striped are the two most common scorpions native to Georgia. They are not life-threatening to humans, but a sting may produce one similar to a bee or wasp. If you have a scorpion problem, let us know and we will offer both pesticide and non-chemical options to control them.

Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Don’t just take our word for it. Real testimonials from real customers throughout Atlanta.

“I have always loved Alexander. They do my monthly pest control service, my termite bond, and have eradicated a carpenter ant colony that had invaded my 150 year-old log cabin several years ago. Wayne services our cabin and does a great job dealing with all the special needs we have from living in the woods by the river.

Roswell

Alexander has been fantastic. We had a freaky situation with some millipedes in our basement and our technician handled it quickly. He’s always professional, on time, and very reliable. Highly recommend.
